Redirection Plugins For WordPress . This plugins sure is a good one to handle URLs redirection . You can use it to hide your long unpleasant affiliate URLs and show some friendly URLs to your readers . This wordpress plugin also suitable for permalink migration . See, i was on Windows server before then moved to Apache last september and still i got traffic from my old posts which cached by google and other search engines .

You can choose either WordPress module or Apache module you want to use . Apache module require you to modify your .htaccess  file and could be dangerous if you are not familiar with it . I would recommend WordPress module because it is more than enough to handle redirection request you need and it is easier for beginners .

These are redirection groups ( for sample only ) i created under WordPress module . These groups contains all redirection URLs which i will create later . These grouping is for your easy and quick referrence later on .

This is a redirection URL inside Amazon Affiliate group . There are HTTP Code options you can use,

1. 301 – Moved Permanantly
2. 302 – Found
3. 303 – Temporary redirect

As you can see, i created a Source URL which will be redirected to Target URL if clicked . Every click will be recorded and you can check them in a well managed log . You can see how many clicks you have, referrer URL ( if you placed these URLs on other websites ) and also IP addresses . The Source URL don’t really exist, wordpress module will handle this redirection process . After you created all URLs you need, you can use them on your posts or sidebar .
