ImgBurn portable is a great burning program, and has completely replaced any other burning program I’ve used on a regular basis. There is practically nothing this awesome utility can’t do . ImgBurn runs as a portable app from a flash drive, and I carry a copy with me always. It will run in any version of Windows, though Windows 95/98/ME will require an ASPI driver download, which can be found on the ImgBurn site. I have used it in Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and even Linux without a problem! Yes, it works with 64-bit operating systems as well .
Portable Iso Burner ( Imgburn Portable )

- Write Image File To Disc – The option I use the most, this allows you to burn your image (ISO) file to your CD or DVD.
- Write Files/Folders To Disc – Just like your normal burning software. This allows you to backup files, or create discs for others with whatever files and/or folders you choose. Useful for burning your photos to disc for distribution or backup.
- Create Image From Disc – Allows you to create an image file from a disc for burning copies.
- Create Image From Files/Folders – Allows you to create a backup image of the selected files and folders on your hard drive. Using an image file instead of just burning straight to disc is useful when burning multiple copies.
- Verify Disc – Imgburn Portable will check the disc to ensure readability and will also verify that your image file has been burned properly.
- Discovery – This option will test your drive and medium. I believe it requires an additional utility to be installed. See website for details.
