Every blogger must have a role model

Role Model
Every blogger must have a role model to inspire them. Someone successful, someone you like. It doesn’t have to be one, you can have more if you think you can manage. To be successful like them, you need to be like them. An easy way such as asking for tips won’t be a good idea because they got so many followers they need to engage. So don’t expect you’ll get a special treatment when approaching them. You need to understand their commitments, the bigger the blog the bigger the commitments.
It’s not a big deal though, you can still learn from them silently.
Study Their Articles
An article is like a fingerprint of a writer. You’re be able to know the writer through his/her writings. Sometimes you can even imagine their personalities through it. See how they explore their niche and how they elaborate it. See who they link to in their posts. Try to get into their world. The more you engage, the more you’ll understand them, the closer you feel to them. This is also a good way to get blog ideas, do it in your own words and style. Don’t go copying others work if you wish to survive.
Track Their Movements
You know bloggers always link back to their blog every time they made comments, anywhere and everywhere they go. And most of them involved in many blogs in their niche. Someone likeĀ www.backlinkwatch.com can help. Type in the web address and it will list all backlinks to that blog. You can just scroll down and click the listed links. This way you can see where the blogs owner often make his/her comments. You can also see which social sites they joined.
Check Their Blogroll
All links on their blogroll must be those who are important to them. Could be their old friends or blog buddies. Check them all .
Check Who They Follow On Twitter
Following somebody on twitter means you want to keep in touch with them and their movements. It’s not just posts, sometime bloggers tweets their comments and other interesting stuff they like on the net. So go check out your role models twitter accounts, follow them and see who they are following.
Be Wherever They Are
Not just on twitter. You better check under every stone. On facebook, Digg, Stumbleupon. Go there. See how they spread words about their posts.
It’s not that hard to track a person who left their fingerprint all over the place. Remember, a blogger supposed to leave their scent so everybody can find them. If you are willing to go through all the hard work to find your role model, maybe they’re waiting at the end of the road … with a smile.
My wish … all the best to you.
