Cyberlink PowerDirector 8 Ultra , the top video editing software for pc , as far as i can tell after i tried it myself . As for me who don’t have any video editing techniques or skills , still this computer software is the best choice . The interface is simple and quite elegant not as i imagined . I thought a professional video editing software would look like … hell i don’t know how to describe it . Well this one is clean and managed .

Editing video is way much easier compared to other pc freeware that i usually used . With this software i can easily trim / multitrim unwanted sections from video or audio clips, increase or decrease the speed of a video clip, or fix and touch up my videos … man, i can even add subtitle to videos . Plus it can directly upload videos to youtube and facebook .

Not only videos , it can also create picture slideshows . With 7 different styles  to show creativity in your slideshow such as 3D, highlight, motion, cell, collage, scrapbook and normal . Pretty handy huh ? .

Available file formats are HD-MPEG-2, DVR-MS, DV-AVI, DAT, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, VOB, VRO, ASF, WMV HD, MOV, MOD, TOD, AVCHD, MPEG-4, Tivo, WTV (single channel) and WMV.

I sneaked around the net for a while to look for some reviews on PowerDirector 8 and found some complaints , mostly on newer machines like Core I 7 . Tell you the truth , i am using older system , Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit on Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 and with multitask working environment ( mostly 8 – 10 opened windows ) , i haven’t found any problems with the software yet and i really do admit it is a great video editing software .
